Problem:
Currently used and stock 2 controllers, with different features, both
subseptable to ESD (Electro Static Discharge) and power fluctuations.
Solution:
This design replaced both applications, with all features in a single
controller. Functions and parameters are now clearly displayed on
LCD for easier setup. Special circuitry dissipates ESD, and a switching
power supply tolerates wide supply voltages.

Problem:
DIN rail relays and
timers cost $400 and were labor intensive to install and wire. End
customers would attempt to "optimize" the system resulting
in damage and unnecessary warranty claims. Solution:
Custom controller that cost $150, mounts with 4 screws, and is not
reconfigerable by the end user.

This controller replaces a mess of DIN rail relays
and timers. It controls an ice blasting machine that leaves no
hazardous waste, like sand blasting.

Problem:
Labor intensive wiring
from PLC stations, to a remote operator station's indicators and
switches.
Solution:
Custom board that communicates all LEDs indicators, keypad, and
all LCD display information on a few wires via RS485.

Operator interface terminal provides information
between the operator and remote host controller via RS485. The latest
revision uses a Vacuum Fluorescent Display.
